Trident Fishing, LLC was established in 2023 by Jeremy Applekamp. Mr. Applekamp has fished mainly on the Great Lakes catching Salmon, Lake Trout, Brown Trout and Steelhead; however, he also loves going after Salmon and Halibut in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington.
Trident is a family run business and Mr. Applekamp wants to say thank you from his family and to all of our customers. We wish you the best of luck on the water this year.

With over 40 years of experience on boats and participating in tournaments he always had a problem with big nets on boats laying on the floor or alongside the boat rails. The struggle to get the net and be ready on time to land the fish can be difficult. The net often gets hung up on boat cleats, towers, pole holders, downriggers etc. Trident has found as a way to solve this problem and put more fish on your boat with the new Net Gripper.
The Net Gripper allows you to position a net vertically in the boat. The net stays in place if the bottom is secure at speeds above 46 miles per hour. With one push of a button the grippers open and allow the net to be free. After a year of testing in 2022 on the Great Lakes Applekamp was satisfied with this new Net Gripper design and is ready for the 2023 fishing season.
